The Sanctum: Greek mythology-inspired cocktails

　　Opened in 2023, The Sanctum is a relatively new addition to Central's bar scene. Drawing inspiration from Greek mythology, the Sanctum offers a range of cocktails themed after various Greek deities.

　　Located on 3rd floor of 11 Stanley Street, The Sanctum features a medium-sized space divided into an indoor lounge and an outdoor balcony. The two areas are only separated by a door, both with a modern and western decoration. Guests seeking to avoid the aroma of shisha can opt for the comfortable sofa seating in the indoor lounge instead of sitting at the bar.

　　The Sanctum offers five signature cocktails, each inspired by Greek mythology, showcasing distinct styles and flavors. For example, Fairest highlights fruitiness of apple and brandy, complemented by a subtle hint of mushroom aroma and balanced acidity. Moirae offers a delightful blend of bitterness, herbal flavors, and oak aromas from whiskey, gradually revealing nuttiness and sweetness in the finish. In addition to cocktails, The Sanctum also offers an array of spirits, wines, and beers upon request.

During the Golden Hour from 3 PM to 9 PM, Monday to Saturday, guests can enjoy a 20% discount on all types of beer, wine, and classic cocktails. The Sanctum also offers a selection of bar bites, including Fish & Chips, buffalo wings, and Beef Tartare.

　　The Sanctum does not provide complimentary snacks nor charge additional fees for them. However, a 10% service charge is included. It is advisable to make reservations in advance, especially for the outdoor balcony, as it tends to fill up quickly, even on weekdays.
