Hachi-Ichi: Approachable Japanese Bar in Tsim Sha Tsui

  Amidst the bustling streets of Tsim Sha Tsui, where open and transparent bar designs are the majority, Hachi-Ichi Japanese Whisky Bar stands out with its discreet ambiance. Instead of showcasing its interior to passersby, Hachi-Ichi has opted for wooden doors and frosted glass that are more secluded. Without the menu displayed outside, one might not even realize that this is a whisky bar in Tsim Sha Tsui.

  Different from other bars in the same area, Hachi-Ichi attracts numerous Japanese tourists and Japanese residents in Hong Kong, with conversations in the bar are often conducted in Japanese rather than Cantonese.
